About Me


Let me tell you a little about how I became an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach:
 
It all started three years ago when I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes. It really shook me up, because I already was carrying hypothyroidism and high cholesterol with me. 
I started a program at the YMCA to learn to control diabetes and although the program was very helpful and enlightening to me, I felt there was room for some more... After I accomplished my one year program, I was 20 Lbs lighter, had no pre-diabetes and as a "consequence" my cholesterol had gone down and my thyroid regulated quite a lot.

I saw so many benefits by doing exercise and counting calories , that I wanted to learn more so I took it to the next level.

In the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN), I learned that is not only about counting calories it is about having it all together in a state of balance: our food intake, our relationships, our career, our physical activity and our spirituality are all part of a WHOLE that nurtures our bodies.

I started in the IIN on September 2015 and by applying new knowledge to my life in December 2015, I had no more hypothyroidism, no bad cholesterol no pre-diabetes.

I would say, based on my own experience I could help you in different areas, like weight management, prevention and control of pre-diabetes and thyroid symptoms.


I received my training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I studied a variety of dietary theories and practical lifestyle coaching methods. With my knowledge, we co-create completely personalized actions based on your goals to move you toward your ideal vision of health within your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and resources. 


As a coach, I put the power back in YOUR hands.
